MARY ELLEN Stoltz BIANCO

Mary Ellen  excels at delivering innovative marketing, branding, and communications solutions to clients with complex challenges.  Over the past 25 years, she has led marketing, branding and communications initiatives at companies such as Deloitte, Nabisco, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Marsh & McClellan, and Bank of America.  As president of MEB Advisory, she approaches an organization’s business and marketing challenges by focusing on sensible, technology-enabled solutions designed to help manage change and grow.

An early advocate of Internet and online communications, Mary Ellen has pioneered award-winning, multi-channel programs throughout her career.  At Deloitte she developed the first-ever marketing program for their national tax practice with an innovative publishing, direct mail and media program that garnered national recognition.   Subsequently, she partnered with the Economist Intelligence Unit to develop Deloitte’s online, subscription-driven guide to doing business in more than 100 countries. Mary Ellen founded a 35,000 controlled-circulation magazine, HR Advisory, while at Coopers & Lybrand, and was also awarded the PRSA “Big Apple” award for internal communications while leading corporate communications there.  She has significant merger and change management experience both domestically and globally, and led communications and brand strategy for emerging markets at 
Marsh, Inc. 

She earned an MBA from Columbia University and graduated from the University of Notre Dame.  Mary Ellen has served as a member of the Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing, Columbia University Board of Trustees; member of the board of the Public Relations Society of New York, and President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canterbury Choral Society in New York City.  She also is of-counsel to Non-Profit Solutions, a New York city based consultancy.  You can read her recent article on understanding stakeholders here.
